About the Role:
As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving end user issues, managing service requests, and ensuring our technical systems operate seamlessly. You will provide high-quality technical support to employees, focusing on their daily tasks and ensuring a smooth computing experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist employees with MacOS desktop systems.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of both Windows and macOS environments.
- Conduct initial IT orientation for new hires during their onboarding.
- Provide computer support services for software and hardware in line with company guidelines.
- Test computer systems to ensure functionality.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting operating systems.
- Communicate effectively with end users regarding their machines.
- Maintain and upgrade computer systems, offering recommendations as necessary.
- Assist in IT initiatives as directed by IT leadership.
- Maintain peripheral devices like printers and scanners and troubleshoot related issues.
- Manage the delivery, tracking, and recording of hardware assignments to new employees.
- Train end users on basic MacOS hardware and software usage.
- Understand network topology to assist during outages.
- Possess a deep understanding of SaaS services and operations.
- Have experience with SSO, SAML, and OpenID Connect protocols.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
