The IT Technical Project Manager will be pivotal in steering the delivery of enterprise systems, infrastructure, and tooling initiatives, ensuring effective implementation, proper governance, and alignment with long-term architectural strategies.
This role necessitates a hands-on approach to project delivery, strong governance capabilities, and the ability to engage credibly with engineers, architects, and third-party providers. You will collaborate with a globally distributed IT function under UK leadership, working flexibly to ensure successful collaboration and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a range of complex technology initiatives encompassing infrastructure, cloud platforms, security tooling, integrations, and mission-critical applications.
- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring results are met within defined scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
- Convert strategic objectives into structured technical roadmaps and detailed implementation plans.
- Work closely with engineers and architects to assess and validate technical designs, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements.
- Identify and mitigate technical, architectural, and operational risks, embedding risk management strategies into project plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure optimal resource allocation and capacity management.
