About the Team
The Dojo Language team is part of the Learning & Development team. Our team aims to be a driving force for the leadership, mindset, and professional growth of employees at Woven by Toyota.
Desired Candidate
As a Japanese Language Instructor on the Dojo Language team, you will be responsible for conducting diverse language lessons targeting adult learners at Woven by Toyota. You will report directly to the team leader of the Dojo Language team.
In your role as an instructor, you will be crucial in enhancing the communication skills of employees, considering the diversity of the workforce at Woven by Toyota.
Key Responsibilities
For Learners
- Conduct one-on-one and group Japanese lessons for employees ranging from beginners to advanced learners
- Provide instruction according to the curriculum
- Develop long-term learning plans tailored to each learner to enhance their learning outcomes
For the Team
- Participate in assigned project activities within the team (e.g., curriculum development)
- Execute other tasks assigned by the program leader
Required Qualifications
- Japanese: Native / English: Conversational
- One of the following Japanese teaching qualifications:
- Passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test
- Completed a 420-hour Japanese Teacher Training Course
- Major or minor in Japanese at university
- Passed the Registered Japanese Language Teacher Exam (not mandatory)
- Teaching experience:
- Over 5 years of experience in Japanese language education
- At least 3 years of experience in corporate training
