We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with a strong background in banking and fintech to join our dynamic team at fuku. This contract role is extendable and requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java-based backend applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement robust backend systems that support our banking applications.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release innovative features.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring high quality and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks and bugs, providing effective solutions.
- Maintain code quality through best practices, organization, and automation.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and integrate them into our existing systems to enhance functionality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer or equivalent position.
- Strong proficiency in Java and its ecosystem.
- Familiarity with React is a plus.
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate is required.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services is essential.
- Proficient in code versioning tools like Git.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience with Java technologies including EJB, Spring Boot, MySQL, Oracle, IBM MQ, and Kafka.
- Capacity to understand business and system requirements, transforming them into scalable and stable technical solutions.
- A passion for technology and a desire to build robust, scalable Java systems.
- Skills in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of complex custom-built applications.
