All Learning Specialists are entrusted with creating a nurturing classroom atmosphere, executing our curriculum, evaluating student progress, collaborating with their team, fostering relationships with families, and fulfilling additional responsibilities as assigned. Comprehensive teacher duties will be outlined by the School Principal.
Depending on the grade levels the LS interacts with, the model and schedule may vary slightly.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The beginning salary for a first-year Learning Specialist is $50,000.

*The salary specified in the offer does not account for any potential stipends for which the candidate may qualify. In the current year, certified New-to-KIPP instructional staff received an average of $11,000 in millage stipends, alongside the possibility of TSIA stipends. Additional opportunities for earning stipends are available at KIPP Jacksonville, contingent upon the candidate holding their FLDOE certification.
