They are looking to expand their creative workforce by hiring a talented 3D Furniture Designer who can create sophisticated furniture concepts and high-quality 3D renderings to aid in internal brainstorming and the production process. Role Overview
The 3D Furniture Designer will work closely with creative and design teams to invent original furniture designs and convert them into refined 3D models and presentation-ready renderings. This role emphasizes the creative aspects of furniture design, including form, proportion, style, finish, and visual storytelling.
The Furniture Designer will facilitate the transition from concept to a clear visual design package for production partners, excluding responsibilities in manufacturing, engineering, sourcing, or factory coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Concept Development & Design Collaboration
Engage in creative brainstorming sessions to develop furniture concepts that align with brand aesthetics.
Transform references, mood boards, sketches, and creative directives into unique furniture designs.
Quickly iterate based on feedback, refining forms, details, and overall aesthetics.
Assist in collection development by creating cohesive families of furniture pieces as needed.
3D Modeling & Rendering (Primary Deliverable)
Generate accurate 3D models of furniture items, including casegoods, seating, tables, and other related products.
Deliver high-quality renderings that effectively communicate:
Proportions and scale
Finishes and material intent
Key design details
Overall visual appeal
