The Opportunity
Viant’s Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) division is experiencing substantial growth, with enterprise and mid-tier dining and foodservice brands increasingly adopting our Demand-Side Platform (DSP) through agency partnerships. We are on the lookout for an Account Director to drive our growth in this sector by enhancing brand-direct demand, boosting agency adoption, and solidifying our reputation as a leader in targeting and measurement solutions. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the next chapter of growth in one of the most intricate and promising sectors of programmatic advertising.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven history of forging direct relationships with QSR brands, advertisers, and restaurants, alongside experience in collaborating with agencies to foster ad tech adoption. You will be responsible for increasing category revenue, shaping the go-to-market strategy, and working collaboratively with Product, Business Development (Data, Measurement, Technology, Supply), and Marketing to position Viant as the premier programmatic solution for QSR marketers.
Key Responsibilities
Accelerate Viant’s QSR Growth
- Expand and scale Viant’s QSR presence by cultivating direct relationships within the Mass Merchant, Grocery, Convenience, and Specialty categories.
- Establish Viant as the leading programmatic solution for the QSR sector by promoting our DSP's unique features in targeting, measurement, insights, and identity solutions for both Dining and QSR brand investments.
- Enhance industry awareness through thought leadership initiatives, participation in conferences, and client education.
Brand-First Demand Generation & Agency Influence
- Manage and expand brand-direct demand while supporting the core sales team in driving agency adoption across the QSR sector.
- Design and implement a brand-first strategy that ensures Viant is a top contender for DSP adoption among leading QSR brands.
