The Team You’ll Work With
As the first Account Executive in Hong Kong, you will embody the spirit of Carta across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Greater China, Japan, and Korea. This position offers a unique opportunity to thrive in a "Founder-AE" environment. While you will be the sole representative in your time zone, you will have the robust support of a global leader renowned for equity management.
You will serve as a strategic liaison, working collaboratively with our global Product and Marketing teams to represent the "voice of the region," ensuring our offerings are tailored to outperform local competitors and meet the specific demands of the North Asian market.
The Challenges You’ll Tackle
- Building a Category, Not Just a Pipeline: Your role goes beyond closing deals; you will educate the market and establish Carta as the premier choice in a competitive region where price often drives decisions.
- Defining the GTM Strategy: You will architect and implement the go-to-market strategy for North Asia from the ground up, identifying key growth hubs and customizing our value proposition to local specifics.
- Creating a Referral Engine: You will address the "cold start" challenge by fostering robust relationships with influential stakeholders—top-tier VC firms, PE funds, accelerators, and law firms—to generate a sustainable inbound referral network.
- Navigating Complexity: You will manage the intricate landscape of customer needs, driving Carta’s value propositions effectively.
