Key Responsibilities
As an Account Executive, you will represent SGS within the Industrial Hygiene and Environmental Services sector. Your responsibilities will include:
Market Engagement
- Actively seek and pursue new business through networking, targeted outreach, and market intelligence.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline by connecting with both existing and potential clients within the IH and Environmental Services community.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development to stay informed on market trends and opportunities.
Client Engagement
- Conduct insightful discovery sessions to thoroughly understand client challenges and evaluate alignment with SGS offerings.
- Position SGS as a trusted partner by delivering customized value propositions that meet client needs and showcase our comprehensive services.
Proposal Development and Deal Closure
- Develop compelling proposals in collaboration with Sales Management, Marketing, and Client Services.
- Secure new contracts and enhance revenue within existing accounts.
- Meet targets for lead conversion, proposal submissions, and revenue growth.
Cross-Collaboration
- Work closely with laboratories to ensure alignment of capacities and capabilities with client expectations.
- Engage with other business sectors (Minerals, Oil & Gas, Industrial Services) to uncover cross-selling opportunities.
- Represent SGS at industry events and trade shows to promote brand visibility.
Client Experience Advocacy
- Act as a trusted advisor—ensuring clients receive exceptional service and clear guidance throughout the engagement process.
- Maintain accurate CRM reporting and provide valuable market insights to leadership.
