The Account Executive for Funded Startups team is a highly consultative sales unit dedicated to the growth and retention of Stripe's most valuable and rapidly expanding startup clients. As a member of this team, you will pinpoint new opportunities for clients to maximize their Stripe experience by swiftly assessing their needs, deploying strategic sales initiatives to drive upsells and renewals, and orchestrating comprehensive campaigns to enhance the adoption of Stripe's services.
Your Role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead contract renewals and spearhead commercial negotiations to boost existing customer revenue and expand Stripe’s market presence.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aimed at increasing product adoption, securing new product sales, and ensuring client retention among our existing customers.
- Address complex client requirements by collaborating across product, sales, risk, and operations teams to refine our offerings.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals with startups and SMBs.
- Proactively generate leads through cold calling, networking, research, and territory management.
- Ensure a positive experience for every potential Stripe user, regardless of the transaction size.
- Identify and analyze user pain points to propose tailored Stripe solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate user success and satisfaction.
