About the Role
Join Signpost as a Solution Specialist, a dynamic hybrid position that bridges Sales, Onboarding, and Customer Success. This vital role ensures that our customers derive maximum value from our solutions during their critical first 90 days. The Solution Specialist will be responsible for acquiring new customers while overseeing their initial experience, facilitating effective onboarding, and promoting long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition & Growth
- Drive the acquisition of new customers, particularly focusing on small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and leads generated from marketing efforts.
- Engage in consultative sales discussions to identify customer needs, showcase the value of our offerings, and successfully close deals.
- Onboarding & Implementation (First 90 Days)
- Lead the comprehensive onboarding process for new accounts, starting with AI solutions and gradually expanding to all product offerings.
- Conduct onboarding sessions, training, and account setups in collaboration with internal resources.
- Ensure seamless activation and achievement of key usage milestones within the first 90 days.
- Customer Retention & Expansion (Early Lifecycle)
- Proactively nurture customer relationships in the early stages, addressing issues and encouraging product adoption.
- Identify opportunities for product expansion during onboarding and the early lifecycle, including integrations and additional services.
- Act as a support contact for non-managed accounts after the initial 90 days.
- Collaboration & Handoff
- Work closely with Customer Success Managers and Key Account Managers to transition managed accounts after 90 days.
- Partner with Marketing teams to enhance lead generation and acquisition processes.
- Provide constructive feedback to Product and Engineering teams to expedite development and improve our offerings.
What Success Looks Like
- Customers are fully activated and experiencing value within 90 days.
- Retention and expansion of customer accounts are evident from early engagement.
