Role Overview
As an Account Manager, you will nurture and expand relationships with existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and profitable growth. Your collaboration with operations, product, sales, and finance teams will facilitate solutions that optimize freight execution and yield measurable results. This position demands a commercially astute, customer-centric professional with experience in logistics or drayage. Our Account Managers are expected to work on-site daily in one of our regional offices to maintain a close connection with our customers and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of customer accounts to enhance retention, renewals, and expansions.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services or lanes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence and swift issue resolution.
- Monitor account performance metrics, including customer satisfaction (CSAT), renewal rates, and gross margin improvements.
- Present account insights and conduct business reviews with both customers and internal leadership.
- Contribute to achieving revenue and profitability targets within your designated territory.
