Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager III specializing in Stop Loss insurance. This pivotal role is responsible for retaining existing stop-loss accounts and driving growth in new business opportunities within the self-insured market. The ideal candidate will serve as a crucial liaison among sales, marketing, underwriting, preferred stop-loss vendors, brokers, and other key stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate with sales and underwriting teams to manage upcoming renewals and identify new business opportunities, focusing on maximizing account retention and enrollment growth while ensuring profitability.
· Negotiate contract terms and conditions with current accounts to enhance business relationships.
· Analyze and compare various product features to provide tailored recommendations based on client assessments.
· Organize and conduct workshops for clients and groups to discuss industry trends, claims procedures, and health regulations.
· Keep clients and stakeholders updated on pertinent legislative and regulatory developments and their implications.
Additional Duties:
· Pursue new business opportunities by selling to potential accounts while aiming to meet sales targets with a focus on prudent and profitable business practices.
· Identify and develop relationships with prospective clients.
· Educate prospects on client products and services to foster understanding and engagement.
· Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Proven expertise in the sale or administration of stop-loss products, with a strong track record of success.
· Proficient in using personal computers and software in a Windows environment, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes; familiarity with intranet and internet applications is essential.
