Your Impact as an Account Manager
As an Account Manager, you will be the driving force behind the commercial growth of Censo. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities in the North Brabant region. You are a true 'hunter' who thrives on closing deals and building your own client portfolio.
In this role, you will act as the ambassador of Censo. You will identify opportunities within the SME and SME-plus segments and persuade entrepreneurs of our unique value proposition. You will build and maintain your own network, primarily through business clubs, and collaborate closely with marketing to generate effective leads.

Censo is a rapidly growing player in the business energy market. Since 2020, we have offered an integrated solution for energy challenges from strategic energy procurement and monitoring to charging solutions and battery storage. Our focus is on business clients with energy consumption starting from 50,000 kWh, who actively want to manage costs, sustainability, and future-proofing.
The organization was formed through a buy-and-build strategy that brought together five specialized companies. The coming years will be focused on further integration, professionalization, and commercial growth. This combination of substantive energy expertise and scalability makes Censo appealing to professionals who want to build.
As of 2024, the entire team will work from one location in Den Bosch. Censo is characterized by its entrepreneurial spirit, pragmatism, and ambition. The communication lines are short, responsibilities are decentralized, and a high level of ownership is expected. The growth of the company and the development of employees go hand in hand.
Your Responsibilities
- Acquire new clients within the SME and SME-plus segments in the North Brabant region;
- Focus on prominent verticals such as retail, sports, manufacturing, food, hospitality, and automotive;
- Stimulate lead generation by actively leveraging existing networks, marketing initiatives, and new business platforms;
- Represent Censo within relevant business clubs and build a strong local network;
- Ensure accurate and punctual documentation of your sales activities in the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics).
Your Role within the Organization
As an Account Manager, you will be part of the sales team and report to the Commercial Manager, Roy Beerens. The commercial team is divided into three segments. Two account managers focus on smaller, existing clients. In addition, there are twelve account managers who focus on larger clients.
