Job Overview:
Mercury Telecom is actively searching for a talented B2B Sales Representative to expand our customer base and explore new opportunities in the Flint market. We provide a variety of services including phone solutions, internet, and alarm monitoring tailored for commercial enterprises across Michigan.
In this role, you will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute strategies to enhance the organization's business and market presence utilizing our proven sales methods.
- Proactively seek out new business partners through networking, referrals, and cold calling; diligently follow up to secure appointments.
- Collaborate with business partners to identify key accounts and meet specific objectives for new business acquisition.
- Organize, coordinate, and deliver compelling sales presentations aimed at informing, persuading, and ultimately closing deals.
- Maintain close communication with provisioning and customer support teams, ensuring they are aware of customer requirements.
- Keep thorough documentation of customer interactions and manage relevant information in the company's CRM system.
The ideal candidate will be self-driven and possess a basic understanding of technology. You should thrive in the dynamic environment of a technical organization with a rapidly growing clientele.
- Familiarity with VoIP concepts, hosted technologies, and best practices is preferred, alongside the ability to leverage experience and sound judgment to achieve targets.
- Strong presentation skills and professional communication abilities, both verbal and written, are essential.
- Organizational skills and analytical thinking to navigate sales challenges with innovative and adaptable strategies are necessary.
- You must demonstrate professionalism in all interactions and effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences in-person, over the phone, and via email.
- This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent project and task management capabilities.
- Attention to detail, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team are crucial.
- Effective prioritization skills are a must.
