- Meet and exceed daily sales call targets with a focus on effectiveness.
- Generate weekly business leads for the hotel.
- Create a monthly list of target accounts for engagement in the upcoming month.
- Schedule at least two site inspections or entertainment meetings each week with qualified potential or new accounts.
- Develop a comprehensive monthly action plan for the key market segments.
- Conduct monthly reviews of account profiles, focusing on room nights production and average rates.
- Analyze competitors’ pricing strategies and marketing efforts to ensure a competitive advantage.
- Take full responsibility for accounts managed, including contract negotiations, profile updates, and renewals.
- Inform management about VIP arrivals and ensure a warm welcome.
- Upsell and cross-sell hotel facilities and services at every opportunity to maximize revenue.
- Negotiate effectively to secure the best rates and profits for the hotel.
- Participate in local business events and networking opportunities to enhance visibility and relationships.
- Provide regular updates to the Director of Sales regarding market trends and business leads.
Team Leadership
- Recruit and select team members for direct reports.
- Identify and nurture potential within the team.
- Conduct performance evaluations to foster team development.
- Monitor team professionalism, appearance, and attitude consistently.
- Design and implement training programs tailored to meet team development needs and adapt to business changes.
Additional Responsibilities
- Attend briefings, meetings, and training sessions as designated by management.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.
- Be knowledgeable about hotel fire and life safety protocols.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
