As an Account Manager at M3 Global Research, your primary mission will be to engage clients, execute bids effectively, and secure our share of RFPs within the traditional market research sector. You will collaborate closely with Sales VPs to maintain existing accounts and cultivate new business opportunities. This role demands a proactive approach to deepen client relationships, generate incremental revenue, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the bidding process for projects, ensuring a thorough understanding of costs and feasibility.
- Meet revenue, profitability, and sales growth targets by nurturing relationships with assigned clients and identifying new sales prospects.
- Maintain ongoing business by managing contracts and exploring up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Network actively within existing client contacts to uncover new business opportunities.
- Organize both client and internal kickoff calls, craft insightful proposals, and deliver strategic sales communications.
- Consult clients on sample design and business challenges, adapting research approaches to meet their needs while collaborating with internal teams.
- Provide outstanding customer service by working alongside Project Managers and Research Managers to fulfill project specifications and deliver quality outcomes to clients.
- Respond diplomatically to complex client issues, influencing internal resources as necessary, and know when to escalate issues for resolution.
- Manage bid requests and ensure timely and proper delivery, understanding project costs thoroughly.
- Follow up on bids and maintain records of outcomes; discuss strategy adjustments with your manager when necessary.
- Collaborate with partners and vendors for seamless project execution.
- Act as the liaison between Sales and Project Managers on all projects.
