Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of financial activities.
- Review account reconciliations and propose enhancements based on business needs.
- Oversee the month-end closing financial and accounting processes.
- Manage multiple Financial Statement transactions throughout each monthly close cycle.
- Develop operational processes tailored to business requirements.
- Offer solutions for issues identified during the capitalization process.
- Identify and address control gaps in vehicle capitalization.
- Facilitate control processes, including monthly journal entries and reconciliations, along with contractual agreement reviews.
- Ensure full compliance with all tax and local entity regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, FP&A, BSE, and tax) to provide accounting guidance on business initiatives.
- Quickly and accurately resolve complex technical accounting issues.
- Advise on required government financial reports; review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports.
- Partner with internal teams to define, establish, and implement robust accounting systems, processes, and procedures.
