BryceTech is actively seeking a dedicated Acquisition Specialist to join our team in supporting the Space Systems Command MilComm & PNT (SSC/CG) Directorate. This role encompasses a diverse array of acquisition capabilities aimed at executing efficient and responsive integrated program management for space-related research, development, production, operations, maintenance, and lifecycle acquisition activities. The SSC/CG Directorate is tasked with the planning, acquisition, and sustainment of space-enabled MilComm & PNT capabilities to support National and Joint Force Operations. The Acquisition Specialist will provide crucial actionable information, advice, and analyses to help the government customer eliminate waste, standardize best practices, and optimize acquisition support while reducing cycle times and costs.
In this role, you will engage in various management and administrative functions to ensure the effective operations of organizational activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Optimizing business operations by analyzing and integrating program technical acquisition artifacts at the enterprise level.
- Maintaining the development, documentation, transition, and sustainment of functional databases to support mission requirements and acquisition strategies.
- Analyzing and supporting all phases of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process for effective program management.
- Preparing comprehensive acquisition reporting materials such as program overviews, executive summaries, milestone status updates, and overall program health assessments.
- Managing research and analytical efforts to ensure thorough results and comprehensive deliverables, with reviews conducted according to established analysis milestone plans.
- Assessing program cost, schedule, and technical risks; identifying mitigation plans; and recognizing efficiency initiatives.
- Integrating program performance data with program baseline to accurately interpret acquisition program threshold compliance.
- Tracking changes in program baselines and capturing high-level program logistics, test and evaluation, and requirements readiness characteristics.
- Developing, maintaining, and updating relevant acquisition reports for Acquisition Category I, II, III, and Middle Tier Acquisition (MTA) programs.
