Role Overview
As an Actuarial Data Analyst within the Policy Data Management (PDM) Team, you will play a crucial role in the seamless transition of new business into PIC's operational framework. This position requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including third-party administrators, Finance Actuarial, Pension Services, and Reinsurance Operations, to identify, validate, and manage the necessary data that supports our operations and downstream processes.

- Engage effectively with stakeholders to gain their support and implement enhancements to systems, processes, and technologies as needed.
- Utilize insights regarding the onboarding of new pension schemes and reinsurance treaties to impact the PDM system positively.
- Drive favorable business outcomes related to capital, profitability, brand reputation, and ensure consistent positive experiences for both policyholders and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheme and treaty onboarding through detailed analysis of benefit structures, data reconciliation, system preparation, and calculation analysis.
- Support quarterly data updates by preparing data and analyzing calculation results.
- Address and follow up on data-related issues with third-party administrators and other internal teams.
- Manage file delivery issues with third-party administrators.
- Process new schemes and reinsurance business by establishing scheme and treaty details in the PDM system and coordinating with the New Business Modelling team.
- Respond to inquiries from experienced actuaries, often requiring deep analysis of underlying data within the PDM system.
- Draft, review, and maintain comprehensive procedure guides for PDM Team processes.
- Identify and resolve issues related to Policy Reference Numbers in intercepted movements.
- Review Policy Reference Numbers and statuses for new treaties integrated into the LISA reinsurance database.
