Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $20.50 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $21.00 | Year 3 - $21.50| Year 4 - $21.50 | Year 5 - $22.50
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Exhibit the core values and competencies required for the role.
• Process patient admissions and discharges, ensuring all documentation is accurately completed.
• Facilitate effective communication between healthcare providers and patients.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Assist in inventory management and adhere to cash policies to minimize losses.
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures while safeguarding sensitive information.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, and walk throughout the facility.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid nursing license in the state of Virginia.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Meet state and local requirements for managing healthcare records.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Previous experience in acute care settings is a plus.
