Job Overview
The Department of Health Sciences at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio is seeking a dedicated Adjunct Assistant Professor to contribute to the development and delivery of courses for the Master of Science in Imaging Sciences program. The ideal candidate will begin as soon as possible and will be responsible for instructing students in both the Spring and Fall semesters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with departmental leadership to create engaging course content for the M.S. in Imaging Sciences.
- Design online learning modules, including lectures, study materials, and assessments to enhance student learning.
- Develop core curriculum outlines and work alongside faculty to define key roles within the program.
- Team up with program leadership to create comprehensive examination materials that assess student competency.
- Establish program and course learning objectives that align with the vision and mission of the School of Health Professions and UT Health San Antonio.
- Perform additional duties related to the MSIS program as assigned.
In addition to teaching responsibilities, faculty members are encouraged to engage in scholarly activities, community service, and contribute to professional development initiatives. This adjunct role reports directly to the Program Director of the Master of Science in Imaging Sciences.
