The Administrative Services Manager (ASM) position within the Fort Worth Police Department's Fiscal Command is a critical role that provides fiscal guidance and strategic recommendations to the Assistant Police Director and the department's executive team. The ASM oversees teams responsible for budget development and management, procurement and contracts, as well as asset management. The budget team manages all aspects of the Police Department's budget, which includes both the General Fund and the CCPD, exceeding $450 million across more than 150 unit budgets. Additionally, the ASM oversees the department's Capital Improvement Plan and annual asset inventory. The contracts and procurement team consists of six staff members who handle contract issuance and purchase orders with external vendors on behalf of the department. This position is primarily in-person, with some flexibility for telework.
