As an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering on-site medical support and healthcare services to a diverse workforce, including US Government personnel, US nationals, foreign nationals, local employees, and a select group of Iraq military personnel stationed at an Iraqi military base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct medical evaluations and triage patients efficiently.
- Diagnose and treat various illnesses and injuries, including acute and chronic conditions.
- Provide emergent care, preventative services, and health education to patients.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies as necessary.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, analyze results, and maintain comprehensive patient records.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Ensure continuity of care through effective communication with other medical professionals.
- Maintain meticulous medical records and documentation.
- Conduct annual employee physicals, medical testing, and immunization issuance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable US and host nation laws regarding medical clearances.
- Manage medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) services for patients requiring higher-level care.
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure seamless patient referrals and handovers.
- Support the clinical development of staff through mentoring and training.
- Adhere to best practices in accordance with clinical guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate actively in Mass Casualty exercises and related events.
- Complete all required organizational compliance education to obtain necessary certifications.
