SUMMARY
As an Agile Project Manager at Avetta, you will play a key role in executing strategic initiatives, ensuring cross-functional collaboration, and enabling teams to achieve high-quality results efficiently and consistently. You will manage the daily coordination, tracking, and communication for various initiatives while collaborating closely with Senior Project/Program Managers, Release Managers, Scrum Masters, and Product Managers for critical decisions and escalations.
This position is perfect for a mid-level Agile delivery professional who is skilled in managing Agile projects, enjoys working with diverse software teams, and seeks to enhance their influence within a SaaS environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program & Delivery Support
- Lead or co-lead Agile program and project delivery across multiple initiatives by defining objectives, scope, and success criteria, while collaborating with senior leaders on larger strategic goals.
- Facilitate key Agile ceremonies (e.g., Big Room Planning, release planning sessions, portfolio backlog refinement, Scrum of Scrums) to foster alignment and highlight dependencies.
- Maintain program roadmaps, ensuring milestones, key dates, and dependencies are current and aligned with business priorities and stakeholder expectations.
- Monitor delivery flow, capacity, and workload across teams, identifying risks of over-commitment and schedule impacts while proposing solutions for decision-makers.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Product Management, business stakeholders, Engineering, and DevOps, ensuring that decisions, risks, and next steps are documented and communicated effectively, with timely escalation for high-impact issues.
- Provide concise status updates (e.g., progress against plan, upcoming deliverables, key risks) for team and program-level forums, maintaining a consistent reporting cadence.
