Agronomy Sales Intern
Spring/Summer 2026
This exciting summer internship provides students with a unique opportunity to become a vital member of our sales team at Norder Supply, contributing significantly to our business's success. As an intern, you will work closely with our Agronomy Sales Specialist, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the agronomy sales field. This internship offers personalized mentorship, constructive feedback, and specialized coaching aimed at enhancing your skills and knowledge. You will familiarize yourself with Norder Supply’s diverse product offerings, including seeds, crop protection, and crop nutrients, learning to make appropriate recommendations to clients. This role empowers you to fulfill our mission of 'Assisting our Customers in Achieving Maximum Net Return per Acre.'
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a mentor to conduct regular field visits, assessing crop health, growth patterns, and identifying potential issues, using insights to provide valuable recommendations to customers.
- Gain proficiency in crop scouting throughout the summer, including stand counts, weed/disease/insect identification, irrigation scheduling, and soil/plant tissue sampling.
- Work alongside the sales team to develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Learn to effectively identify and address customer needs.
- Assist in assembling and installing seed plot and field signs.
- Support the Agronomy Operations team as required.
- Participate in training events, field days, and sales meetings to expand your agronomy knowledge and skills.
- Actively pursue feedback and coaching from Agronomy Sales Specialists.
- Complete a project to enhance Norder Supply’s understanding of product performance.
