THE TEAM AND ROLE
As an AI Automation Engineering Intern (All Genders), you will play a crucial role in advancing and scaling Avelios’ Agents & Automation initiatives. Your contributions will involve creating robust, sustainable automation systems and AI-driven workflows that span across different teams. This role is vital in freeing up internal resources, minimizing operational errors, and enhancing transparency and efficiency through the deployment of AI agents that convert repetitive tasks into well-structured automated processes.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Design & Implement High-Impact Automations: Develop, execute, and sustain end-to-end automation solutions and AI workflows for key projects across departments.
Establish Technical Foundation & Maintainability: Create reusable components and patterns (such as standard modules, token/context safety, monitoring/logging, and version control) to ensure reliability and ease of maintenance.
Data & Integration Engineering: Develop strong integrations with core systems, ensuring proper authentication, data validation, and structured outputs for downstream applications.
Quality, Risk & Governance: Set and enforce operational guardrails, implement testing practices, and document workflows to ensure safe extensions and modifications.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with domain experts to clarify requirements, translate business challenges into technical solutions, and support the adoption of workflows through clear documentation and training.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, or possess equivalent practical experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Hands-on experience in software development, particularly with automation tools and AI technologies.
