About Ambience Healthcare:
At Ambience, we are not just another healthcare technology company; we are innovators at the forefront of building an AI intelligence platform that reintegrates humanity into healthcare and generates significant ROI for health systems nationwide.
Our cutting-edge technology enables healthcare providers to concentrate on delivering exceptional patient care by alleviating the administrative burdens that detract from their vital work. Ambience offers real-time coding-aware documentation and clinical workflow support across various settings, including ambulatory, emergency, and inpatient care, partnering with the leading health systems across North America.
Our teams are dedicated to taking ownership and relentlessly striving to create the best solutions for our health system partners. We value transparency, positivity, and deep intellectual engagement, holding each other to high standards as we tackle challenges that truly matter.
Ambience has been recognized as #1 in Improving the Clinician Experience by KLAS Research, named one of Fast Company’s Next Big Things in Tech, identified as one of the premier AI companies in healthcare by Inc., and selected as a LinkedIn Top Startup for 2024 and 2025. Our growth is supported by esteemed investors such as Oak HC/FT, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), OpenAI Startup Fund, and Kleiner Perkins.
The Role
As the AI-Driven Product Manager, you will spearhead the transformation of Ambience’s internal operations, converting fragmented, manual workflows into structured, AI-enhanced systems that enhance clarity and expedite execution as we scale. Our service reaches thousands of clinicians at top health systems, and the internal operations that facilitate this growth—sales, marketing, hiring, finance, customer success—must be as thoughtfully designed and robust as the products we develop for our clients.
You will approach every internal function as a product: assessing the tasks at hand, mapping inputs and outputs, re-engineering processes, and implementing AI capabilities that make teams more efficient, aligned, and less reliant on informal knowledge. Your guiding principle will be: "If we had to scale this function purely through software and AI, what would our approach be?"
This position is not solely strategic; you will be hands-on and comfortable with configuring tools, crafting prompts, establishing AI-driven workflows, and iterating closely with business teams. You will work at the nexus of process design, AI tooling, and cross-functional collaboration, delivering operational systems rather than just strategies.
This role reports directly to the President, and you will collaborate with every department across the company.
We are a hybrid company based in San Francisco. The salary range for this position is between $200,000 to $250,000 annually.
