Main Responsibilities
AI Solution Design and Development:
- Craft and deploy innovative AI solutions utilizing Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI Hub, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, custom copilots, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Convert user needs into actionable functional and technical designs, ensuring secure integration of NEA data sources.
- Refine prompt engineering and model orchestration for impactful use cases.
- Create connectors and APIs to seamlessly integrate AI functionalities with existing NEA systems like Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Invenio RDM.
Operational Excellence:
- Guarantee the reliability, performance, and security of AI services.
- Implement robust monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement strategies for AI deployments.
- Maintain comprehensive version control, documentation, and traceability for AI models and workflows.
Stakeholder Engagement and Capacity Building:
- Collaborate with NEA Heads of Division and Office to explore AI integration opportunities.
- Partner with the NEA IT team to foster AI competencies within the organization.
- Facilitate workshops and design sprints to gather requirements and co-create prototypes with end users.
- Deliver training and support to end users for effective and secure AI tool utilization.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to discover and execute AI-driven initiatives.
AI Governance:
- Contribute to the formulation of the NEA AI strategy and roadmap, aligning with organizational objectives and AI principles.
- Ensure technical governance, security, and compliance of AI systems with OECD and international standards, including data protection and export control obligations.
- Establish and uphold best practices for responsible AI usage, including thorough documentation, transparency, and auditability of models and prompts.
Other:
- Execute additional related tasks as directed by the IT Systems Manager.
