We are seeking a highly skilled API 570/Certified Welding Inspector for an exciting contract position with our esteemed client in Coffeyville, KS. This role is integral to the Soil Air Interface Identification and Inspection project, which is expected to run until October 2027. Please note, work may experience interruptions during the winter months, resuming as weather and operational conditions permit.
The position is anticipated to start within the next three weeks, with initial tasks already underway. The typical work schedule will be 40 hours per week, with potential weekend hours as required to ensure project timelines and oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field verifications based on inspection ISOs.
- Mark and paint excavation areas in the field.
- Sketch new inspection ISOs and redline existing ones.
- Interpret and redline P&IDs.
- Identify and mark areas for thickness readings (UTT).
- Identify and mark RT areas for pipe profiles.
- Document findings with photographs.
- Prepare detailed documentation and inspection reports.
- Understand visual inspection findings and NDE results.
- Ensure adherence to Engineering Specifications and API Code requirements.
- Report issues needing attention to the Project Pusher.
- Obtain necessary permits for inspection personnel.
- Prioritize safety by reviewing job sites for hazards.
- Assist with PCMS data entry, data analysis, and scrubbing of piping data files as time allows.
