The Team You’ll Work With:
The Mayor’s Office of Appointments (MOA) aids the Mayor in identifying and selecting candidates for senior-level positions, including commissioners and members for over 200 boards and commissions essential to the city’s operations and growth. MOA plays a vital role in talent recruitment, supporting the Administration in creating a sustainable and diverse talent pipeline for its senior leadership roles.
The Problems You’ll Solve:
The Appointments Manager will:
- Manage scheduling and logistics for interviews and selection meetings.
- Draft briefing materials, reports, and communications for both internal and external audiences as required.
- Provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the Appointments Director and the broader team to ensure seamless operations.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as necessary.

- You can work independently on projects with clearly defined goals in a fast-paced environment.
- You have a keen attention to detail with excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
- You demonstrate sound judgment and discretion while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive documents.
