Over the past three years, we have developed a robust, structured apprenticeship programme, integrating 34 passionate engineers into our workforce. This year, we are thrilled to expand our team by hiring 17 additional apprentices across the UK. What Does This Role Entail?
As an apprentice, you will be immersed in the intricate mechanics and technology behind our production lines. You will gain hands-on experience with heavy industrial machinery, ensuring optimal performance while troubleshooting and resolving complex issues as they arise.
Your journey won’t be limited to physical tasks; you will also engage with advanced electrical and software systems that drive our operations. Collaborating with seasoned experts, you will explore innovative solutions to enhance our processes and contribute to the implementation of cutting-edge technical solutions. By the end of your apprenticeship, you will be equipped with the skills to tackle any engineering challenge that comes your way.
This is a clearly defined career path with a supportive framework. You will engage in a four-year apprenticeship programme in collaboration with Training 2000, complemented by on-site mentorship from our dedicated teams.
Year 1: Develop your technical expertise by attending college five days a week at Training 2000 in Blackburn.
Years 2 to 4: Gain practical experience at our manufacturing site in Ramsbottom to apply your learning in real-world scenarios.
The Outcome: Graduate as a qualified Maintenance Engineer with a permanent position awaiting you.
