As the Area Manager for Brillon Consumer Products in Patna, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and development within your assigned area. Your primary responsibility will be to meet sales and distribution targets through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales and distribution targets through effective implementation of area sales and development strategies.
- Plan and execute distribution expansion in line with budgetary objectives.
- Oversee stock and logistics management for the designated area.
- Ensure timely resolution of distributor claims through meticulous scrutiny and on-field verification.
- Maintain the agreed ROI for distributors to foster strong partnerships.
- Develop and implement sales strategies based on comprehensive analysis of Nielsen and internal market data.
- Adapt distribution strategies to align with evolving channel mixes.
- Monitor manpower availability at distribution points and assess performance against established norms, reporting deviations to the Zonal Sales Manager.
- Facilitate distribution expansion by class of towns and categories, taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Oversee the execution of distributor MIS packages, ensuring compliance with agreed timelines.
- Prepare for new product launches by channel, based on a thorough understanding of category and distribution objectives.
- Implement merchandising strategies by channel and category to ensure a shelf share greater than the market for Tier 1 SKUs.
- Ensure that targeted productivity norms for channels and categories are consistently met.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing field sales teams, sales associates, and merchandisers.
- Strong background in promotional planning, budgeting, and trade management.
