As the Area Sales Manager (ASM) at TOMRA Food, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and managing relationships within a defined market segment across the western region of France. Your primary objective is to achieve commercial targets by coordinating with agencies and line integrators, identifying new projects, and delivering customized solutions that cater to our clients' needs.
Remote Work Requirement: This role is primarily remote; however, candidates must reside in the western region of France, ideally around Bordeaux, Rennes, or Nantes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Understand market potential and share dynamics.
- Drive business acquisition efforts in your territory.
- Engage with customers and stay informed about market trends.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to address customer needs effectively.
- Research and gain deep insights into TOMRA technology, competitors, and customer value propositions.
- Proactively manage sales planning and maintain a robust project pipeline.
- Convert prospects into orders while ensuring smooth transitions to the Sales Admin and Customer Project Management (CPM) teams.
- Foster TOMRA’s brand positioning and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Organize promotional activities such as demonstrations, webinars, and TOMRA Talks within your area.
- Coordinate with Presales Engineering to facilitate comprehensive product and process information exchange.
- Work with sales plans and pipeline management tools.
Customer/Account Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer relationships, prioritizing TOMRA’s and clients' interests.
Collaboration with Sales Team:
- Mobilize the TOMRA Food Sales organization to optimize customer service.
- Align local sales strategies with the Business Unit Sales Manager.
- Manage customer visits and prepare commercial reports and proposals.
Agent Collaboration:
- Oversee day-to-day agent interactions and set clear expectations for performance.
