Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Area Vice President of Sales for the UK & Ireland to enhance our EMEA Sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
In the role of Area Vice President, you will play a pivotal part in our Sales leadership team.
You will report directly to the VP of Sales EMEA and will be responsible for mentoring and developing a team of 5 to 8 Enterprise Sales Directors who are promoting Semperis software solutions in their assigned regions. There will be a strong focus on generating new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in line with the company's objectives.
Lead a high-performing team through effective mentorship and guidance.
Be a proactive leader by actively participating in opportunities and projects.
Drive team development using established sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Force Management, Challenger, etc.).
Create and maintain an effective operational rhythm.
Oversee a disciplined pipeline generation process.
Foster a people-centric culture that encourages ownership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Channel, BDR, Product, etc.) to devise effective strategies for team success.
Formulate an annual sales plan supporting regional growth, manage sales forecasts, and regularly communicate progress toward targets.
Attract top talent and build a sales organization to achieve growth objectives.
Engage deeply in complex regional deals to facilitate timely negotiations and closures.
Act as a thought leader within the region and support public relations efforts.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in sales leadership within the Cybersecurity sector.
Proven track record in generating significant revenue growth.
Exceptional mentoring and coaching abilities.
Strong strategic thinking and collaborative skills.
