In this role, you will:
- Conduct thorough internal theft investigations while strictly following company policies, procedures, and guidance from Asset Protection leadership.
- Utilize technology, reporting, and surveillance techniques to identify and analyze theft trends.
- Foster a culture of theft prevention by executing action plans from Asset Protection leadership aimed at minimizing shortages through improved processes and standards.
- Identify, escalate, and support internal theft investigations as directed by Asset Protection leadership.
- Gather intelligence and communicate critical issues to avert theft.
- Effectively utilize video systems to monitor theft activities and aid in internal investigations.
- Respond to incidents and ensure proper documentation is submitted in line with Asset Protection standards.
- Promote a culture of safety and security for employees by exemplifying desired behaviors.
- Deliver exceptional service and a working experience that supports both team members and management.
- Uphold a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
- Adapt to the dynamic nature of a fast-paced work environment by performing additional duties as required.
- Collaborate with HR, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and Operations, prioritizing the safety and health of HelloFresh employees.
- Assist safety, claims, and management teams during investigations of accidents or injuries.
- Support the site emergency action plan and coordinate with local first responders as necessary.
- Apply continuous improvement principles to identify enhancements in our standards and outcomes.
- Act as a business partner by actively listening, building rapport, and effectively communicating at all levels; confidently share ideas as a trusted advisor.
- Proactively recognize and resolve ambiguous or challenging situations, focusing on meeting or exceeding goals while seeking ways to enhance efficiency.
- Diagnose system component errors and explore options for resolution to complete tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Preferred 2-3 years of experience in retail or distribution asset protection.
- Exhibit a welcoming and helpful attitude towards visitors and employees.
- Ability to learn and adapt to evolving technology needs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Effective workload management and prioritization skills.
