Join our culinary team as an Assistant Chef / Commi 1, where you will leverage your expertise in a la carte cooking, meat temperatures, and presentation techniques to deliver dishes that meet our high standards and menu specifications.
- Utilize your culinary skills to prepare and present dishes consistently, ensuring each item meets our quality standards.
- Efficiently prepare all orders as they come in from the service team, ensuring prompt cooking and delivery.
- Maintain peak quality of food as it leaves the kitchen.
- Prepare essential components for meal service, including sauces, soups, and various daily menu items.
- Employ standard food preparation techniques for consistent results.
- Familiarize yourself with our menus, recipes, and presentation styles.
- Store food properly, ensuring all items are labeled and rotated according to SOP, maintaining appropriate temperatures for perishables.
- Assist in preparing food for other kitchen departments and prepare items for the next shift as directed by the Supervisor.
- Keep your work area, including all countertops and equipment, clean and sanitary, in compliance with health regulations.
- Take charge of team responsibilities in the absence of the Supervisor, delegating tasks and ensuring quality performance.
- Arrive on time and in uniform for your scheduled shifts, adhering to company policies.
- Comply with all safety and security protocols, reporting any incidents to management and completing required training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
