As an Assistant Chef Manager at Farm Boy, you will collaborate closely with the Department Manager to lead the delivery of outstanding food and service experiences, showcasing our dedication to providing the freshest shopping experience. - Deliver friendly, confident, and inviting customer service that embodies Farm Boy’s commitment to freshness.
- Work alongside the Department Manager to implement departmental strategies and meet performance objectives.
- Facilitate team growth through training, coaching, motivation, and recognition while upholding professionalism and confidentiality.
- Foster a collaborative team culture by leading regular huddles to discuss goals, celebrate achievements, enhance product knowledge, and promote constructive feedback.
- Bring our culinary offerings to life by preparing and cooking fresh items for our hot and cold bar and grill stations.
- Assist with daily department operations to ensure exceptional customer service, effective merchandising, proper stock rotation, and high cleanliness standards.
- Provide administrative support, including inventory management, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, and payroll tasks.
- Encourage clear communication and compliance with company policies and government regulations across the team.
- Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures with a strong focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP compliance, and proper equipment usage.
- Support store operations by performing additional related duties as required.
