POSITION OVERVIEW:
As the Assistant General Manager (AGM), you will be the operational leader of our restaurant, dedicated to enhancing profitability, delivering exceptional guest service, fostering people development, and managing daily operations. You will work closely with the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to drive key performance indicators and ensure a seamless operation. You will oversee a dedicated team of 20-45 Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PROFITABILITY
- Oversee inventory management through Daily, Weekly, and Monthly inspections.
- Manage inventory orders and receipt of shipments.
- Maintain a comprehensive list of all restaurant assets.
- Ensure compliance with preventative maintenance protocols for facilities and equipment, coordinating with external vendors as needed.
- Implement cash control and security measures consistently.
GUEST EXPERIENCE
- Inspire and guide team members to surpass guest expectations through swift, friendly service in a pristine environment.
PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback to Shift Coordinators and Team Members to enhance team capabilities and overall restaurant performance.
OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT
- Direct the restaurant team towards efficient and precise food preparation and service, adhering to speed of service guidelines.
- Uphold operational and brand standards throughout the restaurant.
- Step into the role of Hourly Shift Manager or Team Member as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- 1-2 years of experience in a quick service restaurant, with management experience preferred.
- Understanding of P&L management to drive profitability.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Strong grasp of guest service principles.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work flexible hours to ensure optimal restaurant operation.
