Job Summary:
Join the vibrant team at Miss J’s Cafe as our enthusiastic Assistant General Manager (AGM). In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure seamless daily operations, exceptional customer service, and adherence to food quality and safety standards, all while fostering a positive and motivated team atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support
- Assist the General Manager in managing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise dining and kitchen operations during shifts to guarantee smooth service.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and deliveries to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Staff Supervision
- Lead by example while supervising front- and back-of-house staff.
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling team members.
- Coach and support staff to uphold high performance and guest satisfaction.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and promote teamwork within the workplace.
Customer Service
- Monitor service quality and promptly address customer concerns with professionalism.
- Foster a welcoming and friendly environment that aligns with Miss J's Cafe's brand values.
- Occasionally serve guests to ensure timely and exceptional service.
Financial Responsibilities
- Support the achievement of sales and profitability goals.
- Monitor labor costs, minimize waste, and assist in managing operational expenses.
- Review daily sales reports and collaborate with the GM to implement cost control measures.
