The Assistant General Manager (AGM) plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the vision and objectives of Twistee Treat are realized. We are seeking dynamic, enthusiastic leaders who excel in providing guidance and fostering a positive atmosphere during shifts. AGMs will lead by example, maintaining our high standards and ensuring our team members, affectionately referred to as 'smile makers', are held accountable to our service expectations.
AGMs must have a flexible schedule in alignment with the General Manager's scheduling guidelines, committing to a standard 40-hour work week. Key responsibilities include:
- Shift Operations: Lead shifts with a focus on exceptional guest experiences, managing labor costs, minimizing food waste, ensuring recipe accuracy, and maintaining cleanliness and productivity.
- Schedule Writing: Develop skills in forecasting and scheduling to meet labor requirements while ensuring excellent guest service.
- Training: Collaborate with Certified Trainers to facilitate training sessions and assist the GM in validating training outcomes.
- Interviewing and Hiring: Support the GM in conducting initial interviews using a standardized questionnaire and provide feedback on candidates.
- Cash Handling: Oversee all financial transactions during shifts, including deposits and petty cash management.
- Inventory Management: Work alongside the GM to understand inventory levels, order accuracy, and product pars.
- Margin Control: Maintain knowledge of food, labor, and supply costs to uphold budgeted margins.
- Unit Operations: Enhance understanding of unit operations, budgeting, goal setting, personnel development, and profit/loss management.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift 15-20 lbs for inventory management. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license, a manager’s Food Safety Certificate, and agree to background and credit checks. Bilingual candidates are a plus.
