Freedom Preparatory Academy Charter Schools (www.freedomprep.org) is a dynamic network of PreK-12 public charter schools dedicated to serving students in Memphis, TN, and Birmingham, AL. Our mission is to empower every student in grades PreK-12 to achieve excellence in college and life. Since our inception in 2009, we have expanded from a small cohort of 96 sixth graders to over 1,950 students across multiple campuses. In 2024, we proudly extended our reach into Birmingham, AL, beginning with grades K-1 and aiming to grow to a K-5 campus.

POSITION OVERVIEW
In collaboration with the Head of School, the Assistant Head of School will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing an achievement-driven, values-centered school culture. This position will focus on leading a rigorous, data-informed, and supportive college preparatory academic program, enhancing extracurricular offerings that broaden access for our community, and fostering proactive communication and relationship-building with families.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Culture
• Mentor and support designated teachers in implementing FPA cultural systems
• Provide real-time coaching and constructive feedback on cultural priorities to identified teachers
• Ensure consistent application of effective school-wide public systems
