Job Overview:
As the Assistant Manager of our Arby's, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that every customer receives unparalleled service. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining food quality, optimizing team performance, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in the daily operations of the Arby's outlet, ensuring adherence to company policies and operational standards.
- Supervise and train team members, fostering teamwork and a customer-centric approach.
- Monitor food quality and safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, place orders as necessary, and conduct regular stock assessments.
- Support financial tasks, including cash handling, deposits, and maintaining accurate records.
- Respond swiftly to customer feedback and complaints to enhance their dining experience.
- Assist in implementing promotional campaigns and sales strategies to achieve targets.
- Act as the Store Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; a culinary or business degree is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in food service or retail management, ideally in a fast-food setting.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of financial management and inventory control.
- Proficient in point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing between 25-50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures, particularly in kitchen areas.
