As the Assistant Manager of Food Operations, you will oversee the daily management of our quick-service branded restaurants. Your leadership will be vital in building a motivated and cohesive team while showcasing your exceptional organizational, planning, and mentorship abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations regarding food quality, safety, labor, and employment, alongside company policies and union agreements.
- Collaborate with Restaurant Managers to implement strategic initiatives aimed at maximizing operational profitability while upholding our quality, cleanliness, and guest service standards.
- Champion employee and guest satisfaction initiatives, ensuring the team understands their significance.
- Oversee the hourly and seasonal supervisory staff, providing guidance, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating team development.
- Ensure compliance with union contracts regarding employee work conditions, including discipline and shift replacements.
- Mentor and counsel team members, enforcing policies and procedures in line with departmental standards.
- Supervise workflow, establish leadership benchmarks, and enhance operational efficiency across work locations while fostering strong internal relationships.
- Evaluate, critique, and modify daily operations and standard procedures to ensure quality guest service.
- Achieve or surpass weekly budgeted operational results, including cost of goods and variable labor, making necessary adjustments to meet budgetary goals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workplace.
- Oversee hiring and training processes to ensure high workforce proficiency.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
