Role Overview
The IP Operations Team functions as a strategic safeguard dedicated to maintaining brand integrity and trust within the marketplace. We implement a dual-layered strategy of proactive defense and forensic verification, including IP Monitoring to eliminate counterfeits and Seller Gating to assess distribution channels. Our team also oversees high-stakes Appeals and IPR enforcement, performing forensic audits of supply chain documentation to resolve disputes and reduce legal risks.
As an IPO Shift Manager, you will be responsible for the daily execution of our Intellectual Property protection mission. Reporting directly to the IPO Manager, you will lead a team of agents in a dynamic, shift-based environment. Your objective is to ensure that every ticket—whether it involves counterfeit detection, seller gating assessment, or IPR reporting—is addressed with accuracy, efficiency, and complete adherence to Coupang’s standards. You will act as a mentor, people manager, and operational specialist.
What will you do?
- Lead and manage a team of quality assurance agents, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to standards.
- Oversee the processing of tickets related to counterfeit detection and seller gating.
- Conduct training and development for team members to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
