About Us
Located in the heart of Chelsea, our stylish independent brasserie has built a stellar reputation for creative and casual dining. We operate from early morning until 10 PM, seven days a week, and our vibrant atmosphere draws a loyal clientele, offering a delightful 70-cover dining experience.
Your Role
As an Assistant Manager, you will collaborate closely with the General Manager to lead and inspire a dedicated floor team of 8, ensuring the highest standards of service are met. Your responsibilities will also include team training and development, stock control, financial management, and contributing to our business marketing strategies.
This role requires a commitment of 40-45 hours per week over 5 days (straight shifts), providing an excellent opportunity in a supportive and friendly work atmosphere.
Candidate Profile
You should have a minimum of 12 months of experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a similar brasserie or gastro-style setting. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service is essential, along with a well-rounded skill set that includes effective floor presence and organizational abilities. Experience in busy, fast-paced establishments, along with a proven track record in staff training and standard setting, is required. We are looking for candidates who are genuinely committed to long-term growth in their next role.
Salary and Benefits
Starting salary of £26,000 per annum, with additional cash tips bringing the total to approximately £30,000 per annum.
Work approximately 40-45 hours per week with straight shifts and two days off. Typical shift patterns are from 8 AM to 4 PM or 12 PM to 10 PM.
