As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be instrumental in the successful execution of smaller projects under the guidance of a Project Manager. Your responsibilities will include reviewing project proposals and plans to grasp the scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. You will assist in managing contracts and subcontractors from initial discussions through project close-out, ensuring compliance and monitoring key performance and financial metrics.
This role requires maintaining precise documentation for accounting, cost reporting, billing, scheduling, procurement, and budgeting. You will prepare reports for management, coordinate project schedules with field teams, attend construction-related meetings, and document project activities to ensure timelines are met. Additionally, you will assist with correspondence for agencies and clients, fulfill reporting requirements, and prepare proposals and estimates.
