As an Assistant Project Manager at EC Electric, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication and coordination across various project components, collaborating closely with our construction project management and field teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the management of all project documentation, such as submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes.
- Aiding in the supervision and direction of project activities as designated by the Project Manager, including planning, problem resolution, and compliance with company policies and standards.
- Maintaining comprehensive change order, submittal, and document control logs within Viewpoint.
- Collaborating with the PM and PX to ensure all subcontractor documentation aligns with the Owner and Maintenance Manuals.
- Creating Job Information Sheets and setting up job files under the guidance of the PM or PX.
- Assuming full project supervision responsibilities in the PM's absence.
- Interpreting and understanding electrical drawings and specifications.
- Assisting in workflow breakdowns alongside Field Supervisors and Project Managers.
- Ensuring project billings are accurate and submitted promptly, in accordance with contract terms.
- Contributing to the drafting and submission of quality RFIs.
- Assisting the PM in ensuring timely payments to subcontractors and vendors.
- Reviewing and updating the status of construction schedules as requested.
- Helping the Project Management team set up project budgets in Viewpoint in collaboration with Field Supervisors.
- Coordinating with the Payroll department to ensure accurate payroll information is submitted.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
