As an Assistant Sales Manager at California Closets, you will play a crucial role in driving our sales initiatives, ensuring that our company’s sales targets are consistently met or surpassed. Your leadership will guide our design team to uphold the California Closets standards of excellence, providing every customer with an unparalleled experience. Collaborating closely with our Operations team, you will ensure a seamless process flow that enhances customer service at all interaction points.
***Compensation for this role starts at $90K, with additional bonus potential!***
***Proven track record in leading in-home commission sales teams is essential.***
***Experience in coaching, developing, and training sales personnel is required.***
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide coaching and mentorship to Design Consultants to ensure all revenue goals and key performance indicators are consistently achieved through monthly Goal Setting & Review Meetings (GS&R).
- Ensure your team delivers exceptional customer experiences at every touchpoint while adhering to company policies.
- Manage underperforming team members following established guidelines to drive improvements, including thorough documentation and collaboration with HR and the General Manager as needed.
- Work in partnership with the Sales Manager and other sales leaders to guarantee that all mandatory training is fulfilled as per the ongoing development strategy.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Central Support to ensure your Design Team has the right balance of provided and self-generated leads.
- Assist Design Consultants in crafting their Personal Marketing Plans, focusing on self-generated leads.
- Oversee the daily performance of the sales team, ensuring accountability and results.
- Co-manage sales contests and incentive programs in conjunction with the General Manager, tracking progress and results.
- Coordinate monthly Sales Meetings with the sales leadership team, including logistics for guest speakers and head office personnel.
- Analyze sales data to develop strategies targeting improvement opportunities.
- Encourage and monitor team participation in local industry events (e.g., BIA, Chamber of Commerce, ASID).
- Ensure the team attends monthly sales meetings consistently.
- Oversee the correct usage of CRM systems (dashboard & Salesforce), ensuring quality data entry and status updates.
