In this pivotal role, you will partner with the Store Manager to manage daily operations, boost sales, and uphold our high standards of customer service and store presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Operations:
- Assist in managing the store’s daily operations to ensure efficient processes.
- Participate in opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization to create a welcoming environment for customers.
- Customer Service:
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times and effectively resolve customer concerns.
- Foster a customer-centric culture that enhances the shopping experience and builds customer loyalty.
- Train staff on customer service best practices and encourage positive interactions with customers.
- Team Management:
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of store employees.
- Assist in developing employee schedules to meet business needs and ensure proper coverage.
- Provide ongoing support, coaching, and feedback to team members to cultivate a positive work environment.
- Inventory Management:
- Help manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of merchandise.
- Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize shrinkage and optimize product availability.
- Ensure products are displayed according to merchandising standards.
- Sales Support:
- Assist in reaching store sales goals and financial targets.
- Monitor daily sales performance and propose strategies for improvement.
- Participate in promotional activities and special events to enhance store visibility and sales.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all store operations comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Assist in training staff on workplace safety practices and emergency procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards in the store promptly.
- Administrative Duties:
- Assist the Store Manager with administrative tasks, including inventory counts, scheduling, and employee records.
- Prepare and maintain reports on store performance, sales metrics, and customer feedback.
